AMC Theatres has launched a discount program that reduces adult evening ticket prices by half for members of its Stubs loyalty club. The offer is active on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at participating movie theaters. The promotion runs until the end of 2026.

Online posts have described the deal as a flat $8 ticket price, but the official terms state the discount is a percentage off the base rate. Because standard ticket prices differ by theater and showtime, the final cost will not be the same for every visitor. A viewer in a high-cost market may pay more than $8, while someone in a lower-cost area may pay less.

The deal is available to anyone who joins the AMC Stubs Insider tier, which carries no monthly fee. Customers do not need to buy a paid membership to access this specific weeknight discount. To use the offer, patrons must have an account and be logged in when purchasing tickets. They should verify the price at checkout to confirm the discount has been applied to their selected show.

The discount applies only to the admission ticket. It does not cover premium formats like IMAX or 4DX, nor does it include food and beverage purchases. Viewers should budget for these extras separately if they plan to purchase them. The base price reduction is the only guaranteed savings under this current promotion.

AMC encourages customers to check the official discount page for the most current terms before visiting. The company notes that the promotion is part of a strategy to make midweek moviegoers feel the value in attending. There is no limit on how many discounted tickets a single member can purchase during the validity period.

The program began in late October 2026. It remains active for all remaining weeks of the year. AMC has not announced a start date for any new promotions that would follow this campaign.

Theaters in major metropolitan areas have already listed the available discounted showtimes on their booking platforms. Smaller regional locations are also participating, though specific availability may vary by screening. The offer ends on December 31, 2026.
