Jesse James Garcia Airada will spend the next 22 years in state prison. The 29-year-old man from Palm Springs faced a sentencing hearing on Friday at the Larson Justice Center in Indio. He was convicted of sexually assaulting multiple girls across three counties. The judge accepted the plea deal, which ended the criminal case against him.

Airada pleaded guilty in August to a list of charges. These included two counts of rape, three counts of contacting a minor for a felony, and one count of oral copulation of a minor. He also admitted to providing controlled substances to a child, using a minor to produce pornography, and penetration with a foreign object. A sentence-enhancing allegation for raping a minor was included in the plea.

The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office negotiated the deal. In exchange for Airada’s admissions, prosecutors dropped three dozen related charges. The sentence of 22 years was stipulated by both the prosecution and the defense. Judge Dean Benjamini of the Superior Court is expected to impose that exact term during the Friday hearing.

Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Gelinas said the investigation began in May 2025. Deputies were alerted to an assault involving a girl in the eastern Coachella Valley. Airada was identified as the assailant during the inquiry. Gelinas noted that the suspect had contacted multiple underage females. He offered them illegal substances in exchange for sex. Investigators subsequently identified several victims throughout Riverside County.

Court documents list the victims by their initials: E.G., E.H., E.J., I.M., J.W., M.B., T.M., and V.K. Prosecutors stated that some girls were given marijuana and cocaine to gain their trust. The assaults occurred between January 2024 and November 2025. Locations in Riverside, Los Angeles, and San Diego counties were involved, though specific addresses were not disclosed.

Airada was taken into custody last November without incident. A search warrant was served at a property near Lawrence Crossley Road and Highway 111. He has been held without bail at the Benoit Detention Center since his arrest. Records show he had no documented prior felony convictions in Riverside County.

Authorities did not explain how Airada first initiated communication with the minors. The case remains closed pending the formal imposition of the sentence. The plea deal resolved all active charges against the defendant.
