The third edition of the Michelin Guide for Texas released in October 2026 adds four new entries to the Dallas list, bringing the total number of recognized establishments to 26. The guide includes 23 restaurants from the 2024 list and two additions from 2025. One new spot, Goldee's Barbecue in Fort Worth, received the first Michelin star awarded in the state.

Goldee's, located at 4645 Dick Price Road, joins a group of one-star restaurants that includes Tatsu and Mamani. Tatsu, a 10-seat omakase restaurant on the edge of Deep Ellum, serves Edomae sushi under chef Tatsuya Sekiguchi. Mamani, a French contemporary restaurant in Uptown, opened in September 2026 and immediately secured a star. Executive chef Christophe De Lellis leads the kitchen at Mamani, which is owned by the Cohanim brothers.

Resident Taqueria in Lake Highlands received a Bib Gourmand selection, a distinction for good quality and value. Owners Andrew and Amy Savoie operate the restaurant, which expanded in 2025 by taking over the adjacent shop. The menu features seasonal specials, including Brussels sprouts with lime crema and pork belly burnt ends. This is the first Bib Gourmand addition for Dallas in the 2026 guide. Lucia, which previously held the Bib Gourmand distinction, moved to the recommended category.

Three restaurants joined the recommended list: Olōyō, Fond, and MĀBO. Olōyō, located in Old East Dallas, is run by chef Oliva López and partner Jonathan Percival. The menu relies on heirloom corn imported from Colima, Mexico, and local North Texas produce. Fond, on Elm Street, serves Detroit-style pizza and natural wines, owned by Jennie Kelly and Brandon Moore. MĀBO, on Berkshire Lane, features yakitori kappo from chef Masayuki Otaka, who was previously recognized by the James Beard Awards.

Jashan in Plano, an Indian fine-dining restaurant, also received a recommendation. Chef Ramesh Thangaraon built the tasting menu to showcase the history of Indian cuisine. His previous restaurant in Malaysia, Jwala, won the inaugural Opening of the Year Award from Michelin in 2023. Jashan offers 12-course and 9-course tasting options.

One restaurant fell off the guide entirely. Georgie, which was listed as recommended in previous years, is no longer included in the 2026 edition. The guide maintains five levels of distinction: three stars, two stars, one star, Bib Gourmand, and recommended. No restaurant in Dallas or Fort Worth currently holds two or three stars.

Mister Charles in Knox-Henderson received a Special Award for Exceptional Cocktails. The venue is part of the Duro Hospitality group, which also operates El Carlos Elegante and Casa Duro. Casa Duro, a three-room guest house, was awarded a Michelin Key. Chas Martin, co-owner of Mister Charles, stated the bar aims for an "irreverent play on the classics." The menu includes an Electric Kool-Aid spritz priced at $19.
