Álex Ghita is no longer competing in Telemundo’s reality series Juego de Villanos. The Spanish personality was the third participant to leave the villa on Friday, October 30, after a physical challenge and a strategic vote sealed his departure. The show, which features 18 controversial figures, continues its run with the remaining cast members reorganizing their alliances.
The elimination was orchestrated by Lis Vega, who proposed the target, and Sergio Mayer, who executed the plan. Mayer had recently received a double power from Plutarco Haza. He used this advantage to direct the game, ensuring that Ghita remained vulnerable. Mayer sent Álex Caniggia to compete in the physical trial for redemption. Caniggia won the challenge, beating both Alicia Machado and Ghita, which left Ghita without a safety net for the final vote.
Networks and social media analysts noted that Ghita struggled to build a strong strategic base. Comments online suggested that Ghita frequently lied to Mayer, a mistake that may have cost him his standing in the house. Mayer, who maintained a clean public profile by using Caniggia as his frontman, successfully removed Ghita without appearing to be the primary aggressor in the final stages.
Ghita’s path to elimination was marked by aggressive moves against the team of Aleska Génesis. He was involved in the exit of Sandra Itzel and Yina Calderón, the latter of whom was the second person removed from the competition. Upon leaving the house, Ghita took to social media to respond to the outcome. He directed his comments at Aleska Génesis, a move that drew criticism from followers who viewed the post as an attempt to claim the spotlight.
Juego de Villanos is the Spanish language adaptation of NBCUniversal Formats’ House of Villains. The series is produced by Banijay Colombia and hosted by Facundo. It airs Monday through Friday and Sundays at 7 p.m. ET on Telemundo. Episodes become available on Peacock the following day.
The remaining contestants are competing for a cash prize of $200,000 and the title of Emperador Villano. Fans can access additional interviews and updates through the show’s website and the Telemundo Entretenimiento YouTube channel. The competition continues with the current group of players vying for the final position.
Mayer remains a central figure in the villa’s strategy as the alliances shift. The next phase of the show will see the remaining participants adjust their tactics in response to the three eliminations that have occurred so far. The schedule for upcoming episodes remains consistent with the current broadcast pattern.
