Mike Hall Jr. will play for the first time since an ankle injury sustained during the Browns' previous meeting with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The defensive tackle missed the past four weeks after stepping in for Mason Graham during that earlier matchup. Hall completed practice on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday without receiving an injury designation for Sunday's game.

Head coach Todd Monken said the team is excited to have Hall back in the rotation. Monken noted that Hall tried to play the previous week but was unable to complete the game. The coach described the return as a real boost for the defensive line as Cleveland prepares for its second contest of the season against Pittsburgh.

On the offensive side, starting right tackle Tytus Howard remains a doubt. Howard suffered a concussion during last week's game against the Tennessee Titans and missed all practice sessions this week. Following Friday's practice, the team listed Howard as questionable for Sunday.

Monken indicated there is a chance Howard will clear concussion protocol before the game. If he clears the protocol, Howard will start at right tackle. If he does not, the Browns plan to use Dawand Jones at the position, mirroring the move made when Howard left the Titans game.

The Browns also listed two other players as questionable for Sunday. Cornerback Myles Harden has a hamstring injury, and defensive back Daniel Thomas has an ankle injury. Both players were part of the group monitoring status ahead of the matchup.
